EMBANKMENT SPORTS CENTRE
Embankment Road, Peterborough, PE1 5BW
Leave the A1 at the main exit for Peterborough onto the A1139 / Fletton
Parkway. Continue along this dual carriageway for a few miles until you
can see the athletics track, with pitch behind it down on the left hand
side. Come off at the next exit, and at the roundabout turn left for the
City Centre. At the next roundabout turn left again, and then again at the
next mini-roundabout. Park in the Peterborough City Council Long Stay car
park along there about 75 metres, just beside the Regional Pool. This is
pay and display. The entrance to the track and pitch is at the back of the
car park.
KING’S SCHOOL, ELY
Follow the A10 to Ely. At the roundabout on the edge of city go straight
over, signposted Ely and a brown tourist attractions sign (the A10
continues left). Past the Golf Club and then shortly after an Esso garage
on your left hand side there is a turning right signposted Cathedral Car
Park. This is Barton Road. Follow this road left and then right (into a
traffic calmed area). The turning into the School Visitors Car Park is
just before a mini roundabout, on the right hand side after the Junior
School entrance and an another School (‘something’ House) entrance .
KIMBOLTON SCHOOL
Come off the A1 at the roundabout at Brampton (Shell Garage on corner)
onto the B661 and follow signs for Graffham and Kimbolton. Pass Graffham
on your right hand side, through Perry and continue on to Kimbolton (onto
B645) and you pass the pitch on your left hand side. You need to continue
into Kimbolton and just after the sharp turning right into the main street
in Kimbolton turn left and then through the gateway entrance into the
School.

Head up the A1 past the first turning to Peterborough, and get off onto
the A47. Loop round and head left towards Peterborough on the A47. After
about 1 mile, turn right at a roundabout towards Castor. Head through the
village, staying right on the old main road. Past two pubs there is a sign
for Woodlands Sports Centre.
